@brugeman nsec.app is great - I really don’t want to type my nsec outside my phone! A question about connecting from my laptop: I’ve installed Alby on my laptop’s Firefox and created a new nostr user (different from the one on my phone).
I then tried to log in to coracle.social with the Bunker URL and got the attached message on my phone.
This npub does not match the user in my Alby extension. Each time I tried I got a different npub. Does coracle.social even use the extension when you log-in via a Bunker URL? Otherwise it means that I would need to re-approve a new npub each time I log in to coracle.social.
I also tried nos2x but it was the same. Is there a browser extension that would keep the same npub? (i.e. will maintain the connection to the bunker instead of the website).

Do Bitcoiners practice mourning ceremonies in days like this (Aug 15th)? #wtfhappenedin1971
Just finished reading @Anil ‘s book. Very interesting to learn the exact definition of terms that you hear about in the Bitcoin ecosystem without knowing what they mean.
I would add 3 more terms. First there are Ponzi Scheme and Pyramid Scheme - which are used by Bitcoin haters who try to defame Bitcoin (even though there is no interest-payments in Bitcoin and no direct reward for bringing more people).
The third is Goodhart’s law: when a measurement becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measurement. This is the main failure of the Fiat system that tries to control inflation by measuring the CPI - a specific basket of goods and services. This may have seemed a good thing at first, but over time it reshapes the economy so insane amounts of printed money could flow to other industries without control.

Nostr or not - the fact that social media platforms depend on a single domain-name and a few ip addresses, so any local government can easily block all non-VPN users in the country, is really stupid.
I would expect #Instagram to have an “Add another relay” in the settings page where users could type an ip address and circumvent the block, instead of having to buy a VPN account (which governments can also block). View quoted note →
The Turkish embassy in Tel-Aviv (#Israel) lowered their flag.
Some say it is to mourn the death of the billionaire arch-terrorist Ismail Haniyeh, leader of #Hamas.
#Turkey is a NATO member.
