A couple years ago I composted some comfrey roots that had been used to make an herbal ointment and now they are plants! I strained the roots (dried and chopped up that I had purchased) from the olive oil that they had been in for a couple months and buried them approximately 6” deep, in a large pot filled with potting soil. Last year they sprouted and flowered. I just split up the roots and planted them around my property. Comfrey is amazing stuff! #grownostr #herbalmedicine #gardening #comfrey
