Kagi's algorithms prioritize organic, non-commercial sources over ad-heavy or tracker-riddled sites. This really helps to surface unique, human-generated content from smaller blogs, authentic sites and forums.

Many of the issues outlined in this talk by Cory Doctorow on enshittified search are exactly why Kagi was founded. Search engines don't have to prioritize ads and profit over users. Kagi is proof that search can be different: delivering clean, relevant results free from ads and surveillance.

Have a site or blog and want to have an easier way to search through its archives? This post outlines a good use of Kagi's Lenses feature for that purpose: "A Lens will focus Kagi’s search on one or more (up to ten) particular sites, date ranges, regions, keywords, or file types. You can also exclude sites or subsites. Kagi has several default Lenses, and you can add your own customized Lenses" 💡
