UPDATE (Aug. 10, 2026) LSP channel services are now back online. You can once again use all of our services in-app or purchase a channel for your Lightning node at channels.zeuslsp.com. Remaining auxiliary services will come back online over the coming hours. For customers whose LSP channels were closed, replacement channels will begin being processed tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and support.

UPDATE (Aug. 8, 2026) Our primary Lightning node, Olympus by ZEUS, is back online. Users whose channels were not closed during the security incident can now resume sending and receiving payments through the node. For customers whose LSP channels were closed, replacement channels will be provided next week. We’ve received a ton of support emails over the past few days and greatly appreciate your patience as we work through them. Our LSP channel services are also scheduled to return shortly. If you operate a large Lightning node and can open an inbound channel to help us bootstrap Olympus, please reach out. It would be massively appreciated. Thank you.

UPDATE (Aug. 6, 2026): ZEUS Pay Lightning Addresses are back online. ZEUS White, block source, and graph data services remained operational throughout the incident. Currency exchange rate services experienced brief disruptions but are now fully stable. Our Lightning node and LSP channel services are scheduled to return in the coming days. Thank you to our customers and the broader Bitcoin community for the overwhelming support over the past 36 hours. We truly appreciate your patience as we continue restoring services.

**Security Update** ZEUS infrastructure is temporarily offline following a cybersecurity incident that occurred within the last few hours. The attack has been mitigated. Out of an abundance of caution, we are keeping services offline while we conduct a comprehensive audit of all systems before restoring operations. **No customer funds were lost. No customer funds are at risk.** Customers whose LSP channels were closed will receive replace channels as soon as service is restored and we're able to process requests. Based on our investigation so far, we believe this incident was limited to ZEUS infrastructure. We have no evidence that it resulted from a vulnerability in Lightning node software. This incident reinforces the importance of work we've already been doing to harden our infrastructure using trusted execution environments (enclaves) and the Validating Lightning Signer project. Our upcoming architecture is designed to mitigate this class of attack. We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates as our investigation progresses. If your LSP channel was closed, please contact us using the support email listed under the **Help** menu in the ZEUS mobile wallet. Please allow additional time for responses while we work through support requests. Thank you.
