Another old thought. If lightning nodes had tags like “zaps” then spinning up a routing node on a sub network you’d be likely to send and receive on would help with channel balancing and reduce friction with self custodial lightning.

I’ve commented before that my Bitcoin life goes slowly. 6 weeks can feel like an eternity. Bitcoin moves maybe 3 times a year and letting go is a challenge.
