Humbled by the response.
I did not expect this to be shared so widely so fast.
While the store is still being proven out I have updated the store builder to require inventory management to be enabled.
That way people do not share stores they are later unable to close without understanding the consequences.
I love the enthusiasm but I hope people pay careful attention to knowing the limitations before sharing a link they cannot shut down.

Most nowhere sites carry no risk. The stores are different and I do not want anyone losing money.
Nowhere stores are experimental. Please use with caution.
Happy to see people testing nowhere but please be cautious if you are testing the store. Consider only testing privately or with people you actually know for small amounts in trusted settings.
I have tried to make it clear both in the builder and on the store page that stores should be used for small amounts and be aware of the real risks of orders going missing in a real live environment.
If you are a seller please only share the link to a store if you have gone through the full checkout flow yourself and made sure that you are able to retrieve orders. Make sure you correlate any orders received to actual payments in your wallet. And consider making it a requirement for buyers to provide contact details in case there is an issue.
If you are a buyer as I say in the store banner “only spend what you are comfortable losing”.
Everyone loves a good origin story so let me tell you about where the inspiration for nowhere came from.
I was working on Zap Alerts (a lightning enabled stream donation overlay) and building the donation page that streamers could share with their non Nostr viewers.
The way I built the donation page was to create it dynamically. The streamer would create a link that contained their stream details, lightning address, fiat currency of choice and suggested donation amounts and then share that with the viewers. When the viewers clicked the link it would pull all the right data from the url to build the donation page.
Once this was done I was looking at it and the realisation hit me. I had just built a storefront that was not hosted anywhere. Yes there was only one “item” in the store (a donation to the streamer) but the concept was there.
I started building out the store but immediately realised there was no reason to limit to a store. There were so many potential sites that could be created this way. All the data needed to render it in the link, hosted nowhere.
