monday workout:
squats 5x5 - 90lbs
bench press 5x5 - 50lbs
barbell rows 5x5 - 50lbs
it's been almost a month since last time, between getting sick and doing film stuff, so i'm pleasantly surprised i haven't lost my strength. very solid turnout.
i haven't been watching much anime lately, probably because i'm too busy being radicalized by Bionicle lore.
it's really cool how the original kanohi, the Masks of Power, have to be brought to the shrine at the respective Toa's homeland. from there they can summon the collected masks at will and telepathically swap them. it's a neat way to tie these heroes to the Matoran they're protecting and ground them; they may be mighty, but that power comes from their people.
