You win some you lose some. Todays litter was only six piglets, our lowest number ever😅

Holy bacon! 18 piglets on our first farrowing of the year!

Metcalfs law:
«More calfs good.»

The result of one windy day blowing down trees and about 3 days of clearing and pulling it out🤪

Ever played slender man IRL?
From new years it’s illegal to sell timber from breaking new ground for agricultural use in Norway.
The circular regenerative concept we have built for years, illegal.
This picture is from my neighbours land, where I keep it tidy in the exchange for the timber.
It used to be a beautiful grass meadow, and is now a spruce plantation in shambles.
Tree plantations on agricultural land aint any good.
But I guess the EU beaurocrats dont want to hear about it.
Tree good, cow bad.
Even if the tree dies and the cows would thrive.
We’re not stopping though.
It’s time to go hunting for grey zones and loopholes.
And make some Norwegian politicians answer for themselves.

When you’re 8 months and 27 days pregnant for the first time and you just want to be done with it.
Soon girl. Soon.

I think I discovered the most ancient form of meditation.
Putting one stone on top of another.
Then one more.
And another one.
Until your body is tired and your mind is clear.

Looks like we’re about to have the first calf(s) of the season sometime in the next few days. All first time calving heifers. Exciting days ahead.

Rainy week behind us.
Sunny week in front.
Full steam ahead.

Spent most of the day in the forest.
Feel refreshed and ready for a new week.
Looks like we might have some calfs coming towards the end, so that will be exciting.
Road: Existed for 100+ years without a problem
*I buy the farm*
Road: Destroyed twice in 3 years.

Women would literally go to therapy instead of just cutting down a bunch of trees and split them into firewood.
The masculine urge to reclaim old pastures and rebuild old stone fences.

Expanding the grazing empire a little more.
We’re now finally all the way up to the remains of the old stone fence.
Next year we’ll keep going on💪
