Rich people using their wealth for influence is nothing new. So why would Bitcoiners be surprised when Blackrock, Coinbase, Saylor, etc. use their wealth to influence the course of BTC? In 2018, Ripple (iykyk) used $50 million to influence university blockchain programs. As someone who was in one of those programs, I can attest to the curriculum simply being fiat sponsored, Keynesian slop.
