Here I am. Well, today a hopefully a little wiser and much, much older. Picture from, I don’t know, I guess post Lehman-ish. Today, I am thankful for my path. I am thankful for #nostr. I have met people who kind of made it, some who really made it (with someone who must be a centi-millionaire by now residing under the sun of the Persian Gulf in the Emirates) and work mates who went dead broke who are now in their 60s and face retirement with nothing. The last 5 years were not fun and the future does not look bright. I have never really made it. But I guess, it does not matter anyway at certain age. (“Having made it” is such a terrible term.) What I know today about money I can't explain, but I feel it. I’ve felt it in my entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. I don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in my mind, driving me mad. Maybe it has something to do with Fiat money, MMT, fractional reserve banking… Blocktime: 924 392 v/byte price: 1 sat/vByte 🧡💜
