Lightning has been fun, over 4 years ago I tinkered with my first LN Node and I have been running my current one for over 3. No regrets even though I’ve lost thousands and maybe even close to hundreds of thousands of sats in shit channels and force closures. Never did it for the gains and as long as I can remember ran with 0 Base Fee Routing fees. Kind of sad that I was close to reach 1 whole BTC in combined inbound+outbound liquidity… ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Not even 10% of that nowadays 🫂 #plebchain might be saying goodbye to it at some point, lost motivation and I hate to say it… custodial LN wallets are a lot less pain in the ass and take a lot less balancing costs and force closures 🤪

Just spent a couple minutes yesterday and today on Twitter after a long time on inactivity. Bloody unbearable amount of cryptoscam advertising everyfuckingwhere in every single post I read. Also so much political propaganda ffsake. So glad I don’t find time to use it any more.

Live-streaming on Twitch was a major hobby of mine until it “nearly” became a job around 2017-2018. Things take a sharp turn when fun is switched for stats, numbers, engagement growth and ultimately trying to see if you can change careers and become a content creator because you get Verified/Partnered. Impostor syndrome, burnout and so on… can be a huge burden. I haven’t given up, but I’ve learnt to not force myself to do something I feel is not working. Learning new skills, studying and finding new interests is revitalising. I’m starting as a newb on something that isn’t extremely related to Bitcoin, which is another BIG interest in my life. But I’m sure I will find ways to link it up and make it useful for myself and others. GN Nostr!

Just in case I run out of sats on lightning to pay my zap.stream broadcast, is there any tutorial out here to do it manual? It's AWESOME to have it all ready and easy to just set some sats per minute for the service of broadcasting for you. But if there is a manual option... I guess I can do it cheaper or for free if I learn how?

Wanted to test @Club Orange but pricing seemd a bit high for me. I understand that by having a price to access the app it will make spam and bots expensive to join. But 100-300k sats is a good amounf of € nowadays and could be life changing in the future. Need to check if it´s really worth it or not.
