Recently my painting, Me Wàyé (Become Day) was sold at live auction. It was made specifically for and donated in support of Pearson College They displayed the painting during their 50th Anniversary celebrations this August. After having the painting appraised by a third party, the gift-in-kind charitable tax receipt was valued at $4000.
