I was gifted this amazing rattle carved by the late Terry Jackson. I’m just can’t believe how nice it is. It sounds great, it looks amazing The design really struck me as an accomplishment The curve of the bear’s back fits into the palm of your hand while your fingers wrap around the bear. I’ve never seen a rattle in this configuration, but that’s the thing ; Terry’s work was interesting and innovative by nature. He intermingled style elements rather than blending them. His work was a tribute to the artists he worked with not by emulating their work but by applying he’d learned. It was always a pleasure to stop in on him, he always had a bunch of amazing things on the go. Special thanks to Bob & Deb.

Was just thinking back on this moment. This a good friend, Nick Sherman playing a song of his on a borrowed guitar, down on Whiskey Dock, waiting for a ride. We had one hell of a visit, he played a bunch of gigs including an impromptu concert in my gallery with Myles Morrison backing him up. We went to a punk show, stayed out till the sun came up. I think the agentic ai that Openclaw has unleashed is a good thing. It feels like a win for open source independent devs who just dunked on the mega corp ai. Ai is amazing I’m definitely in. I’m learning, it’s interesting and it’s definitely becoming more useful than novel. That’s said. I feel no need to fill my feeds and timelines with slop. We got Openclaw bot moved into the PC A WSL Ubuntu install with Ollama and Openclaw. It’s got some local models installed and bench tested today. I don’t think I could have done this without Claude help but It’s using local resources now instead burning tokens. Some crazy sci-fi geek shit now, bro 🦀🤪
