This argument is so absurd, that refuting it is like shooting fish in a barrel.
Say I were to go and occupy Prof. Yehuda Lindell's (he likes this post) house. Then:
Israel's area: 8,019 square miles
Area that I have: 0.00007174 square miles
therefore, I claim that Prof. Lindell (and his Israeli friends) must give his house to me because it's not about land and there's no occupation. This absurdity is the argument that is being made here.
PS: Note also that Israel's area (8,550 sq. miles) is overstated. Wikipedia lists it at 8,019 sq. miles (the figure I used above), and the CIA World Factbook lists it at 8469.92 sq. miles.

Whatsapp on the web browser encourages to download the app, making disingenous claims that the app is faster and as if it is impossible to do such calls within the browser. Most probably the "app" is the same code that runs in a browser but wrapped within electron. And by being able to run outside of the browser's sandbox (being an app), it can access more of your system and gather more personal information.
