"Perspective does not accord with man’s nature—proof of this is the complex and prolonged labor that was required to hammer out the notion of perspective. The period between the 15th and 18th centuries witnessed a forced retraining of human psychophysiology. Perspective is alien to man because it is a conspiracy against natural perception: it demands that one see not that which exists but that which is desirable to see. Distortions of perspective are connected with the high qualities of icons. Historians of culture put a greater value on a cultural phenomenon if it approximates phenomena of the second half of the 19th century. Perspective is an expression in painting of the Kantian world-understanding. A picture of the world with perspective is not a fact of perception but a requirement in the name of certain principles" -Pavel Florensky.

Know that a curse, even (simply) the indignation of parents acts very strongly. And even if the parents did not curse their children, but simply became indignant because of them, then the children do not have a single bright day in their lives: their whole life is one continuous torment. Then such children suffer greatly throughout their earthly life. The parental curse includes all the bad words we have said throughout our entire lives, i.e. not only those that are said: “I curse you,” but also such as: “fool, moron, underdeveloped, unreasonable, freak, ignoramus, you will see it in your children,” etc. (negative words). We only have the right to say: “God save you, God protect you, God help you, and I believe in you, that you will succeed, I am glad that you made an independent decision, but you should have consulted me... and all in that spirit (positive).” A child is an innocent angel by nature and if he has deviations due to bad upbringing, then the reason is in us. Look for sin in yourself and eradicate it. Having cleansed yourself, the child is automatically cleansed. A mother's prayer for her children drives away all demons from them (the demon of drunkenness, the demon of smoking, the demon of fornication, etc.).
