DA-POW "The network never says “this block must be exactly 600 seconds after the last one.” The 10-minute target is enforced retrosively: Every 2,016 blocks (~2 weeks), Bitcoin looks at the timestamps of the first and last block in that period. It measures how much wall time appeared to elapse based on those miner-chosen timestamps. It then recalculates the proof-of-work target so that the next 2,016 blocks should take about two weeks again."

After Taproot: OP_SUCCESSx provides a large set of “always pass” hooks. Future upgrades can tighten these into real, stack-modifying opcodes via soft forks, while old nodes remain compatible because they already treat those scripts as valid. In short, Tapscript traded a handful of limited upgrade hooks for a broad, flexible toolkit—making Bitcoin’s scripting layer far easier to extend without network-disrupting hard forks. What This Enables OP_SUCCESSx gives developers roughly 70+ blank opcode slots to introduce new scripting features without needing another contentious overhaul like Taproot itself. Potential future uses include: Covenants (restricting where coins can be spent next) New signature algorithms (post-quantum or threshold signatures) Multi-byte opcodes (extending the instruction set beyond single-byte limits) Cross-input logic (operations that look at multiple inputs in a transaction)

Checksum:1/32 ratio is used for all BIP39 lengths so the error-detection scales with the entropy. As the mnemonic gets longer the checksum grows proportionally so that a random mistake or a swapped word is increasingly unlikely to accidentally produce a valid phrase.

BIP-32 vs 44,48 ...... BlueWallet multisig does not use m/1' as the derivation path. For a P2SH-wrapped SegWit multisig vault (which displays addresses starting with 3…), BlueWallet uses BIP-48: m/48'/0'/0'/1' They just leave out most of it in the export text: m/1' 🤦‍♂️
