This Silver and Gold run-up is likely mostly paper, right? People wont/cant actually take the risks and costs - of true self custody. Way way easier to offload those risks/costs, including verification, to a trusted-other. 1 BTC of Silver is about 1000 troy ounces, which is about 31 kg

This will of course make things worse; slightly better in the short term; much worse in the long-term.
