Plodding on with the 30" bow saw. The logs that need cutting only go up to about 6" diameter so it's not too bad although it's all hardwood and most of it is already dried and has been in the sun so swapped out the green wood raker blade for a peg tooth. Some of it isn't worth splitting and will leave as rounds, the other stuff will just get split in half and stacked in the wood store. As it's a residential area and for the health of the flue - I only burn kiln dried or seasoned hardwood which is 20% moisture content or lower (government guidelines) most of this stuff will probably be ready to burn by winter. ๐Ÿชต๐Ÿชš๐Ÿช“

Installed Wallet of Satoshi on Android and got it working okay with Nostr Amethyst to zap people, also installed Primal on my phone which I find has a better appearance/user interface. How do you connect W of S to Primal though using NWC? Can't see anywhere in the wallet to generate/view the connection code?

image ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿชš Saw a post from an old guy who I follow on X the other day saying he had to work on Sunday, something he didn't want to do but had deadlines to meet, thought to myself that for me milling some boards and being productive would be preferable to sitting there like a lemon scrolling social media, plus I'd be earning money but it's like anything... People who have never driven plant before think it would be cool to operate an excavator, bulldozer, forklift etc which it is for a bit until it's your full time job to be sat in one, after a while you're looking for any excuse to get out and have a walk around ๐Ÿ˜‚ Links to his website for antique furniture restoration, hardwood supply & milling. image Tried some different honey, this Zambian Forest Honey is darker in colour and totally different taste to New Zealand Clover Honey. It has a kind of tobacco and treacle flavour to it which I quite like tbh. The Internet returns - "Zambian honey is a unique and richly flavored honey that is harvested from wild bees in the Miombo rainforests of Zambia, near the source of the Zambezi river. It is known for its smoky and aromatic taste, with notes of treacle, dried fruits, and whisky. The honey is cold-pressed, which retains a higher pollen content, and it is certified organic and Fairtrade, supporting small-scale village beekeepers who use traditional bark hives"

Why is the fruit from supermarkets usually so shyte? What has been done to it? Every pineapple I've had hasn't even been that sweet, soft or juicy - more whitish pale looking inside than rich yellow/orange, the label states that once picked pineapple doesn't ripen any further so it's nothing I'm doing. Bags of small oranges or 'easy peelers' as they are labelled are usually shyte - either dry or tasteless. Pears used to be soft and juicy if left to ripen but now either seem hard with little juice or turn to rubbery mush. I bet if some small scale independent farmer local guy in Costa Rica gave me a Pineapple it would taste totally different, honestly getting to the stage where I don't trust half the food sold in supermarkets.

Built a water planter/mini pond because adding water to a garden is supposed to help nature, even adding a quarter height barrel, watertight pot or old Belfast sink with pond plants to a patio can help. Bedded 4 paving slabs on some 10mm ballast concrete, used 2 courses of 250x120mm treated softwood sleepers on edge screwed together with long green treated wafer head timber screws, used galvanised L brackets & shorter treated screws on the internal corners. Added a layer of building sand inside on the floor, underlay & pond liner with a decking board cap. Added a small solar powered fountain sat on top of an old strawberry pot, cut a hole in a riven stone slab for the pump and core drilled the biggest pebble I had for the jet, my old 1/2" bsp threaded chuck dedicated core drill and quality Marcrist core bits did the job. The plants in plastic baskets sit at various heights depending on their type, oxygenating at the bottom, marginals a few inch down on bricks and floating plants just thrown in. #plantstr #nature #wildlife #garden

1st picture is what a car windscreen looks like after some rainfall in the night. 2nd picture is of a glass patio table that I cleaned on Saturday which now looks like that. 3rd picture is the dust collected up onto a piece of paper 4th image (video) once again shows the dust contains ferrous metal Seems strange to me, no wonder my nose is always dry & I'm thirsty. Is it #geoengineering or normal atmospheric #pollution?

image Couple of cold lagers to quench all the dryness from that Darpa Dust falling out the sky! Peroni, can't really go wrong with this stuff, although can you trust anything nowadays? Heard Bill Gates was getting involved with Heineken who are the parent company of brands such as Amstel & Bira Moretti, look what parasites such as Gates has done to Arla who own Lurpak which was once a established Danish butter producer since 1901, now it's made from the milk of cattle who have been fed Bovaer 'because cow farts cause climate change' absolute bollocks!

The UK Government are now actually admitting to doing #Geoengineering but only so called 'harmless' salt water spraying onto the clouds, what aren't they admitting to though? It's not just me that has been seeing an increase of dust/particulates covering everything outside. Open to hearing plausible suggestions as to what it could be.

image A glass patio table that was only cleaned the other day absolutely thick with atmospheric pollution again, this isn't a one off, no one is doing construction work nearby, what is it? Where's it coming from? Is it #geoengineering particles falling from the sky?

image Been doing some decorating for the old folks starting with the ceiling, the ceilings in their house aren't the best tbh and it's mostly down to bish bash bosh get it done quick and save a few quid housebuilders in the 80s, the upstairs floors are timber joists but instead of fully nogging it out the joiners just thrashed a few bits of floorboard between the joists which is something I guess but the proper way of doing it would be to set the noggs out so all the edges of the plasterboards for the ceiling are supported, they also only used 3/8" plasterboard sparsely nailed not screwed - all this leads to more movement and cracking. To make matters worse the ceiling had been painted with white silk emulsion, you don't use silk on a ceiling especially one with imperfections because the sheen will reflect the light and highlight them all, another questionable thing was that the coving had been glossed ๐Ÿ˜ฌ To me, coving is part of the ceiling and is a plaster product although pre-formed gypsum between paper like plasterboard and stuck up where as some traditional coving and cornice were moulded plaster. So I had to get masked and suited up and rub down/key the lot, wipe it all down with a sponge and then gave the ceiling and coving 2 coats of matt white emulsion, now looks loads better. Next up is the woodwork - skirting boards & architraves which are currently white gloss that looks okay for a year or 2 before it yellows, they are going to get rubbed down and redone in water based white satinwood. #building #house #decorating

image That's why you only store kiln dried firewood in your house, start collecting random bits of wood and stacking it up indoors - โ˜ ๏ธ RIP your floorboards & wooden furniture.

Not watched it yet but saw the other day that the couple who do Redacted made a video saying that the CIA and MI6 are orchestrating the war between Pakistan & India, wouldn't be at all surprised! Who was behind the overthrow and imprisonment of Imran Khan and reinstalling those Sharif crooks? Either you're a puppet of western powers or you're overthrown, everyone should know how it works by now. #pakistan #india

image That's all I need, a cracked tooth! The dentist I'm registered with has gone private and is longer seeing NHS patients, under the NHS patients still have to pay for work but the fees are tiered - ยฃ27 (check up, xrays) ยฃ75 (extraction, filling) ยฃ326 (crowns, inlays, false teeth), going private you can triple these prices (that's excluding cosmetic work like implants and veneers) and more and more dental practices are going private and don't want NHS work, my dentist said the government don't pay him enough and the practice earns way more doing private work, this is making finding an NHS dentist harder and harder for people when the cost of living in the UK is getting stupid (some of the highest energy prices in the world while they pursue net zero, concreting over oil & gas wells, stopping North Sea drilling, closing down coal power stations etc) Money doesn't buy happiness - but it stops you looking like a victorian peasant with a sucked in face because your teeth are knackered/missing. Not saying I can't/won't get it sorted but for Brits already struggling with the cost of living, dental woes is just another kick in the teeth. Picture not particularly relevant but funny ๐Ÿ˜‚ Couldn't find the one of the guy with fake tan and a Gucci man bag ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿ‘œ๐Ÿฆทโ˜€๏ธ

There's no prices on the website but how cool would one of these be if you had a sufficient reliable amount of water running through your property? They're available in kit form so you can assemble them in place without needing a telehandler or crane etc. The site had a few case studies were depending on the wheel size and water flow rate you could achieve about 3-6.5kw. One of the smaller examples had a 4m diameter wheel with a water supply of only 100l/s which didn't look a massive amount of water to me, that was producing 3.5kw (84kWh of power per day) The only maintenance on the wheel is greasing the bearings once a year.

Sorry guys, you can't have water because billionaires like Zuckerberg & big tech need it for their data centres! I've never related with commies & leftoids when they start shouting about hanging the rich and hating on billionaires if their only gripe is they 'hate rich people' but when you start seeing stories about people not being able to have running water in Georgia because Zuckerberg's Meta data centre is stealing it all, well what can I say? Is this story an insight into why the WEF have been talking about how they should control water and dictate how much us plebs, serfs and peasants use?

image There was an episode of Ben Fogle new lives in the Wild on the TV the other day, some guy that had trained to be a vet (a good career & relatively well paid some may argue) but he ended up hating it and decided to walk away from it all and go off grid in Wales. It looked like 'off grid' in Wales wasn't that straight forward though, to achieve his dream he had to partake in the Welsh Government's 'One Planet Development Scheme' where to build on the countryside your home has to be zero carbon in construction and your development has to support who lives there, every year you have to submit reports to the government proving that you're producing at least 65% of your own food and you are able to fund any remaining bills and costs from land-based business - in this guy's case that was selling honey & eggs, there was no mortgage or rent to pay but still had to pay council tax. From what I've seen on Homestead Rescue it looks like rules & regulations regarding off grid living vary from state to state in the US, there was an episode filmed in Oregon and they seemed quite strict about what you could build and where. It does make you wonder if achieving the off grid thing in the UK will become harder given the smaller land mass and less free (open) land compared to other larger countries. #homestead #offgrid (sort of)

image It's understandable that people no longer 'trust the science', the experts or TV doctors as it often feels like the health service has been corrupted to benefit big pharma but there's gonna be some alternative quack shit out there, maybe it was a larp or engagement farming but there was someone on X posting about how sunburns are caused by bad diet and gut health ๐Ÿ˜‚ Wouldn't be at all surprised if the companies that make suncream put a load of weird harmful chemicals in it and I don't usually bother with it myself, if it feels like I'm burning I cover up or seek shade but surely everyone can agree that over exposure to the sun can burn the skin, especially unacclimatized pale skin irrespective of one's gut health.
