On Tuesday, units from the Saudi-backed "National Shield Forces" began withdrawing from their positions along the coast of Lahj Governorate in southern Yemen. The forces are reportedly moving toward the Al-Abr border area with Saudi Arabia as part of a large-scale withdrawal operation.

For over ten days, they watched Emirati-backed militias expand, seize control, kill, loot, imprison, and displace people, without saying a word. Now that their control over the southern provinces is nearly complete, they're calling for de-escalation. The hypocrisy is astonishing.
