Writing a banger tweet about how you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on yourself for not doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on other people who have done the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on the obstacles in the way of doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Fantasizing about all of the adoration you'll receive once you do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how other people did the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading this essay isn't doing the thing. The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing.

A conversation I once had with a homeless man: Can I ask you something? Sure I'm looking for advice from a stranger. OK If someone had stole your stuff, & knocked over your mom's ashes on the ground, could you forgive them? (I thought for a bit, & said:) I think if I could forgive myself first, for being in that situation, that might help me to forgive him. (He allegedly said something in response to this) The lesson for me is: Forgiveness is on the other side of vengeance. 🙏

May 8 2024 The night I left it all behind. It was an odd feeling when I left late that night. Few hours from sunrise. Calm breeze. Quiet drive. So much stillness in the air. Soft gentle rain drops. I think that's when you know you're changing to higher time-lines. No drama, no chaos, no urges to feel "right" or make others "wrong". You just let it all go. Drop it off where you left it. Let it stay there, where it wants to be. The road ahead has been cleared for you. You just need to focus forward & not dwell in the rear view. Your Sovereignty awaits. ₿🧡

Testing DMs in Primal, Damus, & Amethyst I like to DM myself, so I can save notes, & other stuff, that are just for me. I've found that between these 3 Nostr clients: Primal website in desktop app Brave Damus in IOS 16.7 Amethyst in Android 13 ...I can DM myself (plain text & hyperlinks) from Primal & that note will show up in the other 2 mobile clients on the respective phones... But going from any other direction, & seeing the DM in the other 2, is inconsistent & usually doesn't work. Much sad. No wow. If that can happen reliably, between at least 3 popular Nostr apps, in different OSes, then I can ditch my multiple cloud note-keeping apps. Thank You 8^D
