For some reason my daughter wanted me to ask AI how many nanoseconds in a billion years (there are a billion nanoseconds in a second). For fun I took it a step further and compared it to sha256. I hope this is true as it staggered even me:
Imagine:
• Each nanosecond in a billion years = one lottery ticket.
• SHA-256 is a lottery where you need the one winning ticket.
• Even if you got one ticket every nanosecond for a billion years, you’d still be short by a factor of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10⁵²).

Blessed are the retards, for they shall inherit the earth
The chance of guessing a bitcoin address by brute force is like picking a single grain of sand out of a universe filled with sand, where every star, planet and galaxy is buried under countless oceans of sand. SHA-256 is awesome
I can’t even tell you how long this has taken but I have reached the 50k Sat withdrawal threshold on the Fold app from daily spin rewards. Took years

Wait, were people
actually panicking it was over
