Let’s talk about the Sansevero Chapel.
The article from Vigilant Citizen alleges: Sansevero Chapel centers on legends that Prince Raimondo di Sangro used black magic and alchemy to turn living people into stone.
Two anatomical displays—human skeletons with intricate marbleized veins and arteries—were allegedly created by injecting victims with a petrifying poison, letting their flesh rot away while their vascular systems hardened into stone. This Medusa-like transformation was rumored to involve ritual killings.
In parallel, the chapel's lifelike marble sculptures (like the impossibly sheer veiled of The Veiled Christ) were so convincing contemporaries questioned whether they were sculpted or conjured through occult means. The chapel is framed as a Masonic temple where art blurred into sorcery—and humans could literally become stone.
I think it’s too weird to ignore personally. The sculptures are unreal and I can’t decide how you carve out a net like that or achieve the veiled effect so well with marble, but hey I’m no sculptor.
Then, the more obvious is how did they get the vascular system so perfect in the anatomical machines. But you decide for yourselves.
