Just had a thought If you had to choose which situation would you rather be in, in 30 years A- have 1 Bitcoin in an ETF (third party) B- have a fraction of a Bitcoin maybe 0.1 but in cold storage where you have your own private keys.

I don’t think enough people understand how dystopian a world with CBDC backed bitcoin really is. Not owning your own sovereignty, not having your own keys might be spell permanent slavery.

Does freegpt on startOS still work? There’s literally nothing I can find online. It’s stuck on this endless “starting” process image

When someone I’ve been pleading to about bitcoin, comes to me when it’s at 500k suddenly talking to me about supply shock I won’t have words to spare image

I don’t know why I get a strong repulsive reaction when I hear the words “did you take profits” But I guess I’m just a regular bitcoiner i suppose

I’m wrestling with the idea if Bitcoin is actually waajib instead of just halaal. My reasoning being if fiat currency is riba which is very haram, and you are using it out of necessity, If you have the option to opt out with bitcoin, isn’t it then waajib? Bitcoin becomes not waajib not on its own, but because staying away from Riba is.

Very good podcast overall but a couple of things that was here I thought were quite quite toxic Bitcoin is money and money is an exchange of value. If bitcoin isn’t an exchange of value then what is it? Why am I storing value if I can’t exchange it for value? What’s the difference between bitcoin and real estate apart from its scarcity? If everyone is using it as a store of value, what does that mean for the network itself? This fiat based mindset is more of a problem than I thought.
Buy now pay later for basic needs has to be the most dystopian invention, I can imagine to date.
This man is extremely close to being a bitcoin maxi, it’s only a matter of time.
