📚 Book Recommendations: Psychology
—————————-
Understanding dishonest communication patterns is key.
In social interactions and intimate relationships people play dishonest “games” to get what they want instead of communicating their needs in a straightforward fashion.
Here’s two books on human psychology and transactional analysis you should check out if you experience tons of drama in your interpersonal relationships.
We love to talk about bitcoin here on Nostr, but I also want to build up the #nonfictionbooks community. Cuz reading is cool! 😎

GM! My first bitcoin bull run.
Sleep deprived. Skin drying up. I Have skipped the gym for a week. Hygiene on all-time-low as #bitcoin hits all-time-high.
I guess it’s all a part of shedding skin. To go from novice to apprentice level Hodler.

Dear Journal.
Starting to figure out the Lighting Wallets and Zapping. Got myself a Wallet called Wallet of Satoshi.
The setup was so easy that it put a smile on my face. Confidence in my abilities is now restored
Next step is to figure out how to get some god damn Satoshis onto that thing from my Self-custody wallet. That seems to be the trickiest part.
I think I’ve hooked it up correctly to my #Nostr profile… I think..
The Bitcoin rabbit hole goes deep, and I’m enjoying the journey of discovery.

What self-custody wallet do you recommend? I’m new to Bitcoin. I have a Coinbase Wallet. I don’t remember why.
Is it wise to have several wallets to spread risks!?
I’m new, and I know this community is great at onboarding new people to #bitcoin. ❤️
New book Arrival! Have you read this one?
“It might be too volatile to be a currency for now, but it is the first organic currency.
But its mere existence is an insurance policy that will remind governments that the last object the establishment could control, namely the currency, is no longer their monopoly.
This gives us, the crowd, and insurance policy against an Orwellian future.”

What are you reading this week? 🤔📚
I’m reading up on essential physics. I felt I have a few holes in my fundamental knowledge.

"Skin in the Game" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb explores the importance of having a personal stake in the outcomes of decisions and actions.
Taleb argues that individuals should bear the consequences of their choices, emphasizing the value of accountability and risk-taking. 📈
Quotes:
1. "Skin in the game means that you do not pay attention to what people say, only to what they do, and to how much of their necks they are putting on the line."
2. "Bureaucracy is a construction by which a person is conveniently separated from the consequences of his or her actions."
3. "If you give an opinion, and someone follows it, you are morally obligated to be, yourself, exposed to its consequences."
These quotes capture Taleb's idea that true decision-making responsibility comes when individuals have a personal stake and face the consequences of their choices.
Have you read this book?! 🧐 📚
In what stakes do you have “skin in the game”!? 🤔 (Bitcoin yeez?!)
