Happy Friday! Coffee first thing really nips it in the bud. Man, caffeine is a drug. I miss the energy first thing in the morning. I need to get back on protein shakes for a healthier version.

Made a nice vegetable soup this evening. Fried onions, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrots, green and yellow beans. I also added a cup of dried 5 bean and grain mix. Veggie Boullion, smoked paprika, pepper, no salt veg spice, a couple cloves of garlic, sage, tomato paste. Added boiled veg pasta when pasta and soup was finished cooking. Had to add boiled water to the mix. Turned out really good. A Hawkins stove-top pressure cooker was used for high pressure.

Where did my custom feeds go #Nostria? I also saved #hashtags and turned those into a feed. A new trending feed was also created. #Nostr Everything went back to default. 🙃

Today I was reminded today that my clock time on the stove was different than my computer. (thank fuck to npt servers) Realizing that I lost an hour due to DST change. Feeling the time difference at sunset really makes up for the time obfuscation. A little later, and a little slower. #timestr #time #DST

Feeling enlightened that Nostria is giving me a great feed now. I had to configure feeds from public relays. I have 4 or 5 public relays configured, in the "relay options" but they didn't really provide an updated feed for some reason. Maybe they are based on an algorithm? But since I have configured a public facing feed like nos.lol to a channel in the client it feels a little more aggregated. Possibly a little too much. Maybe I'll do the same for another relay that is unpopular. Hopefully I can somehow sort the raw feed dynamic into interests in another channel that have hastags. #nostr #asknostr #nostriches #nostria

So I figured out how to get AI to write on an image, and manipulate with it. Sometimes suggesting the text to image to manipulate three areas. It kept me up all night last night because I find this type of stuff fun and relaxing. A user-friendly Nostr client for exploring relay feeds

From my previous blog post, converting BTC to Lightning was pretty simple. It is easy to overthink these processes. I used Kraken to convert #Fiat currency to #BTC, then I used #Coinos to transfer the BTC from Kraken, Even though the Coinos website shows both Lightning and Bitcoin, I transfered Btcoin and it gave me Lightning in the wallet. I'm unsure if it still gives access to BTC, but I was excited when Lighting populated after the transactions. It's not really documented but I am glad that it worked out as it did. #Blog #LN #Lightning

How are Canadians Transitioning to LN? I've been stuck on trying to figure out the best way to convert CAD to LN to get my Sats in. From a locale perspective, for the first time looking into trading fiat currency to LN, it's been a difficult adventure. I spent all night looking into a few different exchanges. Like Kraken, for example: Monero can't be bought with my tender in my locale. But I am able to buy BTC and trade to XMR on ORANGE FREN. Do I convert from my Fiat currency to BTC on one exchange, then use another to convert BTC to XMR, then from XMR to LN? Or should I look into a Canadian broker? Right now, I'm not really dealing with a large amount of currency for exchange. I just want some LN the safest way possible. Or hell, even the easiest way possible. Is there such thing as a non-soverign type of exchange? Thinking of on-ramping some Fiat since I don't have any lightning/btc. Less info the better, but also trusting that I'm able to get fiat exchanged. If not, is coinbase a good solution?

Interesting how relays can be so configurable allowing for an array of options. From viewing to paywalls, to to quality feedback incentives, and other various groups. I think once I get more used to this, I may as well just get my own relay working. https://www.relays.land gives few options that are available. I'm sure there are others. #nostr #relays

What's a secure way to get a QR Code for your keys? OpenOffice? Is there a trusted authenticator service that allows QR Code distribution? By that, as an example, apps like Snort ask for a QR Code to sign in. Or at least one way. Am I overthinking this? #Nostr #AskNostr
