The talk is "Why Can't We Make Simple Software? - Peter van Hardenberg" "In general my advice to someone who's built a lot of high-scale production systems through many orders of magnitude is that it's as harmful to build for the system of the future as it is to build an insufficient system for the present. If you build the tools for 100 million users when you have a hundred users they're going to be completely unusable too and you're going to waste so much time trying to solve problems you don't have yet that you're going to miss out on all the benefits of being able to just look at all your users and see who they are and talk to them, right?"

I used to earn some sats using Bitcoin Miner. A silly idle game, but it pays it sats. If I make 20-30 sats a day in a few minutes in the morning, that funds my zaps a little. (I think I am far enough in the game that is possible) Of course, it's ad-funded. Fiat income, bitcoin outflow. Now that Bitcoin is a bit more expensive, they put a daily cap for bitcoin withdrawals to 50 sats. I've more than I can take out. Games based on this model will need to figure out how to make it work without implementing silly capital controls or sat dilution. That probably applies to THNDR games as well and that's why they went to do Clinch. Is there anybody who plays games and sees a good fit of bitcoin, nostr and games? Like on ZBD maybe?
