My relationship with Nostr is pretty simple. Every now and then, I post a pic. Typically, nostr:nprofile1qyx8wumn8ghj7cnjvghxjmcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqg9ym07udelz0cemqn5qp883thga7dwk92djtrnscwqkdpc62a7y0gwmuvgk likes it and zaps me. In return - and genuinely - when I see one of Dor’s posts, I usually do the same. If it’s surf content, I’ll probably repost it.
And that’s about it - and that’s fine by me.
On Monday, Portugal experienced a major power outage from around 12:00 to 22:00. No electricity, no internet, no phone signal.
I went home with my wife, picked a book, grabbed the dog, and we headed to a public garden. We spent the afternoon reading.
By evening, the local Italian was using its oven to cook for the neighborhood. We picked up my parents and had pizza by candlelight.
The power came back at 22:00. I barely noticed. Still lost in the book.
A wild situation turned into a beautiful day.
Yes, because Nostr was just too friendly - lets start creating pointless divisions.
