As a result, you forget about the reality of who you are and what it takes to attain a high level of ability. It’s why a longer path to success is most beneficial. It’s easier to have more gratitude for the arduous path and harder to forget about it as well. An easier/quicker path is easily forgotten and taken for granted. Comfort can skew the reality of life and complacency is death. Observe nature. Commune with God.

Simply assuming past success will guarantee you successful results in the future can be disastrous. Chasing truth is a daily practice that involves constant investigation and work.
