Regardless of your position on any if this shit. This part, RIGHT THE FUCK HERE, should irritate anyone. When a core Dev, who could easily suggest the PR, has a different core dev submit the PR. There is only reason you do this. Cause they know the optics and how it would look if they didn't find a 'neutral' dev to submit the PR. This is them thinking you are a moron.
