Transforming Receipts into BTC! Install the Méliuz app. Create your account in the app. When you make any purchase, ask for the fiscal receipt. In the app, go to "Notas" (Receipts), take a picture of the receipt, upload it, and wait for it to be validated. If you have Méliuz Premium, each receipt gives you R1.00inyouraccountbalance.Ifyoudon ′ thavePremium,thevalueisR0.20. Now, redeem the amount to your account, then make a Pix transfer to the BIPA app using Bitpix, and voilà, the amount is converted to BTC. As a thank you, send me some zaps for the tutorial!

To install and use MetaMask with the Solana network is not a straightforward process because MetaMask was originally built for the Ethereum network and its compatible networks (EVM). MetaMask doesn't have native support for Solana. To interact with the Solana network, you will need a wallet specific to that network. Here is a step-by-step guide to installing MetaMask, followed by an explanation of how to use a Solana wallet. Step 1: Install MetaMask in Your Browser Access the Extension Store: Open your browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge) and go to the extension store. You can find the link in the browser menu or by searching for "MetaMask extension" on Google. Download the Extension: Click on "Add to [Your Browser]" and confirm the installation. A MetaMask icon (a fox) will appear in the top right corner of your browser. Create Your Wallet: Click on the fox icon. Read and accept the terms of use. Click on "Create a new wallet". Create a strong password for your wallet and store it in a safe place. This password protects the extension in your browser, not your crypto wallet itself. Secure Your Secret Recovery Phrase: MetaMask will show you a 12-word phrase. This is the master key to your wallet. It is extremely important that you write it down on a piece of paper and store it in a safe, offline location. Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone. If someone gets access to it, they can steal all your funds. MetaMask will ask you to confirm the phrase in a later step to ensure you've written it down correctly. That's it, your MetaMask is installed and configured! You now have a wallet to use with the Ethereum network and other compatible networks. Step 2: Use a Wallet for the Solana Network Since MetaMask doesn't have native support for Solana, you won't be able to use it to transact SOL or SPL tokens. For this, you'll need to install a wallet specifically for the Solana network. The most popular wallets for Solana are: Phantom: The most popular and user-friendly wallet. Solflare: A great option with advanced features. Backpack: A newer and popular wallet. Here is a generic step-by-step guide to installing a Solana wallet, using Phantom as an example: Access the Phantom Website: Go to the official Phantom Wallet website and click on "Download" or "Install Phantom". The site will redirect you to your browser's extension store. Install the Extension: Click "Add to [Your Browser]" to add the wallet as an extension. Create a New Wallet: Click on the Phantom icon (a purple ghost) in your browser. Click on "Create a new wallet". Write down your Secret Recovery Phrase. Just like with MetaMask, this phrase is your master key and must be stored in a safe, offline location. Create a strong password. You now have a dedicated wallet for the Solana network. You can send and receive SOL, interact with decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana network, and manage your SPL tokens. Wallet Summary MetaMask: Ideal for EVM networks like Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack: Essential for the Solana network. Using the correct wallet for each network is crucial to ensure your transactions are secure and successful. image

The crypto-monsters collection is in full development, and some are already appearing here. In this collection, some monsters will have the initials TH on the image. This stands for Treasure Hunt (Caça ao Tesouro). This means that hidden within this image is a Bitcoin voucher, and the first person to claim it gets the amount. Only the first person to redeem it gets to keep the prize. It is a Lightning Network (LN) link. How the redemption works: Download the image where you identified the TH. Open the image with Notepad; it must be with Notepad. Scroll to the end of the code and find the following text: "Congratulations, you won (value in BTC or Sats). Below is the link for redemption." Copy this link and open a wallet that supports the Lightning Network. The most recommended one is Wallet of Satoshi (as it has already been tested for redemption). It also works with others. Paste the link and click "receive." There you go, you've redeemed your prize. These monsters are locked and will appear here once they are released. Stay tuned! Below is an example of what the image with a redemption prize will look like. The TH monsters will appear randomly. To find them, pay close attention to all the ones that are posted. image

Good morning, Bitcoiner community! Today is another vent from a digital artist trying to make a living in a country where art is undervalued, and there is still a lot of prejudice and disbelief in our work. Primal gives us the freedom to continue creating and sharing our work. Only those who are living off art know how difficult and big of a sacrifice it is, because we have no way of knowing if what we have today we will have tomorrow. We live one day at a time without knowing if we will have money for our bills or even to live with dignity. We are always hopeful that one day we will be valued and be able to live with dignity from our work. I thank everyone who understands and contributes to my work, always strengthening me so that I never give up.

image Community, one way I protect my wallet's seed phrases that I find incredible is through Steganography. You hide it in an image, and then you can place that image in an email draft without sending it, on a flash drive, and in a password-protected file on a cloud drive. Boom, you have your seed words secure and accessible wherever you are. For anyone who wants the PDF guide, I can send it, but there's a small production cost for this guide of 100 zaps.

Currently, the Boltz exchange performs the swap process from the Bitcoin LN network to the On-Chain network. It's simple, but there's a minimum value of 50k sats to send. The fees are very low. No need to close the LN node. Check it out! Contribute to my work as a content creator. image

Bitcoin: A Lifeline for Freedom in Controlled Economies In an increasingly interconnected world, where national governments exert strong control over financial systems, Bitcoin has emerged as a crucial tool for those seeking financial freedom. For citizens of countries with unstable economies or restrictive monetary policies, Bitcoin offers a decentralized, censorship-resistant alternative to traditional banking systems. It provides a way to protect savings from hyperinflation, bypass sanctions, and maintain access to funds in times of crisis. Venezuela: The Battle Against Hyperinflation Venezuela has faced one of the most severe cases of hyperinflation in modern history. The value of the national currency, the Bolívar, has plummeted, rendering traditional savings worthless. In this environment, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have become a vital lifeline. Venezuelans use Bitcoin to: Preserve Wealth: By converting their devaluing Bolívares into Bitcoin, citizens can protect their savings from rapid inflation. Receive Remittances: Friends and family abroad can send money to Venezuela without relying on official channels, which are often slow, expensive, or blocked. Facilitate Commerce: Bitcoin is increasingly used for everyday transactions, providing a more stable medium of exchange than the local currency. Russia and Ukraine: Bypassing Sanctions and Maintaining Access The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has highlighted Bitcoin's role in bypassing traditional financial barriers. Following the imposition of strict sanctions on Russia, many Russian citizens found themselves cut off from international banking services like SWIFT. In Russia: Individuals and businesses used Bitcoin to send and receive payments, enabling them to operate outside the heavily sanctioned banking system. In Ukraine: As traditional banking infrastructure came under threat, Ukrainians turned to Bitcoin to move their wealth, receive donations, and continue essential financial activities when banks were inaccessible. For many, it was the only way to quickly secure their assets and access funds for evacuation or humanitarian aid. Bolivia: A Response to State-Led Financial Control Bolivia's government has implemented some of the most restrictive financial policies in Latin America, including a ban on cryptocurrencies. This tight control over the financial system makes it difficult for citizens to save in foreign currencies or invest in a way that protects their wealth from government devaluation. Despite the ban, Bitcoin adoption has grown in the country. Bitcoin offers Bolivians an alternative savings vehicle that is beyond the reach of state control, allowing them to protect their financial future in a way that isn't possible through traditional means. The Fundamental Advantage of Bitcoin The common thread in these examples is Bitcoin's core value proposition: it is decentralized and permissionless. It operates independently of any government, bank, or corporation. This makes it a powerful tool for those who are marginalized or oppressed by their country's financial policies. While the journey toward widespread adoption is ongoing, the stories from Venezuela, Ukraine, Russia, and Bolivia underscore a fundamental truth: for millions of people around the world, Bitcoin is not just an investment—it is a tool for survival and a symbol of hope for a more inclusive and free financial future.
