I left with a full stomach, but not a happy heart.
I've eaten at this place years ago, and I remember feeling a little disappointed back then. I honestly thought things might have improved, but unfortunately, the experience was still the same. The staff seemed more focused on their phones, and we weren't impressed with the quality of the meat. I had been craving beef enoki since last week, but most of the beef we got was just fat.
We usually go to Doyaji Korean BBQ, but since it's quite far from us, we decided to try somewhere closer. It just made us appreciate Dyard Samgyupsal even more. For just β±329 per set, we enjoyed better pork belly, tastier cheese, and much more accommodating staff. For us, the overall experience there is simply better.
That said, the day was still worth it. It had been almost two months since the three of us went out to eat together, so catching up, laughing, and sharing stories made the lunch enjoyable. Sometimes, it's not just about the foodβit's about the people you're sharing the table with. β€οΈ
