There was a connection issue with some of the nostr.wine relays on the latest Primal v1.0 release. Got a brief moment to go digging this evening and figured it out. A bizarre case sensitive issue. All fixed!

We made some updates to our AUTH flow today across all of our relays to implement the latest changes to NIP-42. We now send a [“CLOSED”, sub-id, reason] when a REQ is closed by the relay instead of a NOTICE without a sub-id. The reason will always start with either “auth-required:” or “restricted:”.

In addition, both nostr.wine and inbox.nostr.wine now support draft NIP-88: Notify request spec for relays (
