I had a thought. Respect is severely lacking in the world. Self respect. Respect for reality. Respect for epistemology. Respect for children. Respect for fellow men. But in rare people, respect flourishes, and it resonates and radiates out from these individuals on a powerful battery of its own merits, not on some superficial nicety, some half-baked politeness ritual, or some received "wisdom" from the current elites (regardless of whether these elites are good aristos or phony criminals). It comes from real consideration, and a commitment to a life in harmony with reality. These people will preserve the best of humanity for millennia to come. Whether we achieve the significant though comparatively small goals of libertarian anarchism this century or next, the best of humanity will continue to be tested, tempered, and reinforced, and will outcompete any supposed masters in the long run.
