I've been having this recurring thought and I kind of went over it in my episode of "A Plebs Take" called "Protocols vs Platforms" Odell really helps to illuminate the problems and lack of security. On platforms like Amazon, Facebook, Google, istagram, Twitter etc, you do not own anything. You are in fact the product and you do not have control within these walled gardens. Gm Nostr were 3 days into the new year and there is so much going on around bjtcoin, and in my life. The halving is nearly 4 months away, the ETF BS is looking more and more likely every day. On top of all of that I've decided to start my mining journey. I've purchased an s9 miner that I'm going to play around with Turning it into a space heater. Super excited for this project. I've conscripted my father in law into the project and if we're successful with the space heater we may purchase an s19 and try to retro fit a water heater or hvac...horizon is open! On another note, speaking of projects I've posted episode 4 of A Plebs Take, Nostr The Censorship-Resistant social Protocol. This episode was alot of fun for me to make. I'm really enjoying getting to talk about this stuff. It's helping me to clarify my talking points and make them more concise. I appreciate everyone who has watched the show. Bought a rug today. I convinced my father in law to start our bitcoin mining journey by together. Keep in mind I have very little faith that we will be "Profitable". Right now for me especially its about adding hash to the network, helping to secure it and learning a few things along the way. Super stoked to get this thing in the mail. Kinda feels like Christmas again
