I'm in a weird phase of my relationship with the social Internet. I really love the fediverse for the flora and fauna of my bubble. But after digging this deep in the nostr rabbit hole, the fedi *system* feels so shortcoming, archaic and conservative. I really think we're seeing the dawn of a completely new type of internet in nostr. One that builds upon mistakes and successes of the existing resistance to the corporate/governmental web, but goes on a tangent in terms of what it means *dimensionally*. Where substance can inherently supercede form. But the biggest thing of all with it is having identity decoupled from server and domain. This is opening up a really interesting relationship between *locality* and the *global internet*. And I think we're going to be transformed by it. I don't know yet into what, but on the vague horizons of the future it makes me see, there's the familiar sense of enthusiasm internet gave me in the beginning of our relationship, but this time it is concretely équipée with resilience in that the transport layer doesn't really matter. A world where on- and off-line aren't two separate realities may have entered the chat.

What's the deal with filter.nostr[.]wine?!? The only place I have it is in "connected relays" on #amethyst, yet everytime I boost something in amethyst it wants me to pay the invoice.
