Seed phrases of friendship are easy to hack but hard to penetrate.
> I like you `eye contact`
> You matter to me `eye contact`
> This is shit, but I can smell it `eye contact`
> Human nature is hard `eye contact`
> If you are happy, I am happy. `eye contact`
Back in 2018, my little sister was in her teens, and i had an urge to reach her and her generation about issues that were pressing to me: crumbling economy, 0 privacy, co-optation of internet into a surveillance machine, superficialization of human interactions... I didn't want to be a moralizing grump, so i figured I'd try do that modern jam bumping in the kids' earphones. That autotuned snake-jazz but top it with cryptic lyrics that would, hopefully, tease a listener into wondering what the fudge. The whole character would be a secret squirrel, coming from nowhere, spitting DATRUTH™ only to disappear in a cloud of rightful mystique.
By any metrics of the KPIs, it wasn't exactly a success.
But some decent music came to be.
Got a friend request from my grandma
But she spelled her name with an "O"
Felt like it came from Futurama
But I know my OP-sec yo!
Background check just didn't add up
Family tree is kind of messy
So I called her up
She LOL:ed out loud and said: "hey sweetie!"
"Why is it that you never call me?"
"Good thing I went through the Zuck"
"Although I think it's kind of shitty"
"I simply had to try my luck"
Do I know what it does to democracy?
How come we have to be registered?
How can this promote any liberty?
If all we do in it is monitored?
So many questions and all valid,
She checked all my OP-sec control
94 years old and vivid
Holding strong her grandma role.
She said next time we go for a stroll
I'll get to see her augmentation:
A 2kg aluminum walker-roll
A marvelous invention!
