I'll be honest. I've disengaged from Nostr recently. I've been checking in regularly but I've been so busy lately that I haven't felt like I can put the energy in here which is not ideal. At my job there are "away trips." These are jobs that are further from the shop than a standard work day would normally make profitable, at least by my boss' standard. These trips include paid hotel, $250 a week for food and an extended, but unpaid breakfast. The downside is the days are 12 hours long. I've been staying with my family which has been a game-changer but I've been expected to be working those 12 hour days with none of the benefits and with the added family responsibilities when I get home. I'm getting tired of it. The ultimate downside is that after these jobs are done, I'm back to staying away from my family which is just not working for me. I can't keep going like this. So that's it. My nostr participation has dramatically declined because I simply don't have the time to think, let alone create meaningful stuff here. That's all I've got for you. Hopefully things change soon.
