The past few years for me, not sure if it is because of Bitcoin or a mix of everything, it's like a journey of going back to what's real; so we were born and being taught how to blend into modern society: go to school then get a job, work till 65yr then you can retire...But did you ever question of why do you need to deal with people you don't like so to earn money or why someone else did nothing yet getting a big cut out of your work? You slowly realize the matrix, and the good news is seeing the problem is the first step to solving it! Then, you start to figure out how to exit ( Bitcoin is a powerful tool ) and learn how to stay away from "modern products": from the food you eat, tools that you use, or even the values that are fed to you, much verifying yet rewarding at the same time. And once you take good care of the shelter, food, and all the necessities, then you have all the time to work on something you love ( find your ikigai ) and spend time with people you like instead of keep waiting for retirement or holidays. image

Went to see some rock tombs, and I thought to myself, how did people even manage to build that? Not only it's HUGE, but it's built on steep mountains, and they carved the tomb out of the rocks... And the more I see, the more I think people in the past mastered way better skills than the modern ones, yes you built airplanes, the internet, and many cool techs, but the knowledge of how to live in harmony with nature or how to make the most of natural material is going downhill.

really hard to come by those who have skills, taste, and attention to detail these days; many just want to get the thing done fast instead of making the best thing they could possibly, I mean nothing is wrong with that, but doing something extra can win you miles away in such mid-core society.

Imagine everything you own is crafted by yourself - why not focus one or a few years on solving ONE problem? Second year into making my own clothes! Not only I'm unsatisfied with chemical dyes, as I've shared before, but I also want to control the fabric from the start now, so here I am - don't underestimate what is possible, even in a foreign land! I traced down some remaining masters to see how they weave fabric the traditional way; I want to see what's possible and understand how certain structures are being weaved because I have some ideas in my mind, and I want to see if it is doable... The weaver is the one truly has freedom to decide whatever she likes, yet most people think once they are "rich" enough, they can buy whatever they like, while in fact they only get to buy from what's available in the market, which is limited freedom; And to make things even worst, people are rat race buying what whatever brands to show their social status, yet being fed mostly massive produced junks? And I am not sure how many of you dig into these so-called fashion industries, I was a bit shocked seeing how the layers of layers middlemen work, and then again, the weavers/makers earn the least while doing most of the work. It makes total sense why not many people keep doing these time-consuming yet beautiful crafts: image

why are we got projected this picture of people living in the village are poor and uneducated? After exploring a bit in some villages, I think ppl there truly live a self-sufficient life, growing their own fruits and veggies, raising chickens or even cows and sheep, and trading with neighbors, but usually as a favor; And women are usually skilled in multiple things, and they just *know* how to make things with those knowledge passing down from mother to daughter - I ate the best food and drank the tastiest water in some of the villages I have been to. Not to mention that they are way less stressed, and people are much closer because they spend so much time together and everyone knows everyone! and they are so much giving too, inviting you for food or drinks without even mentioning money, while city people are so money-oriented, things are so transactional, the bigger the cities the worst it goes...have less fiat doesn't mean someone is poor, what really poor are those barely have any skills and got stuck in a job that he/ she hates and no time spending with people they care, or even worst trying so hard to please people they don't even like.

I see many people waiting for the Bitcoin price to moon so they could finally start to do what they enjoy or live the life they want—why not be the change? I'm sharing my own experience and how I escaped the rat race and living my life the way I want, but I'm still continuing to explore what's possible out there. ✨ https://blog.geoarbitrage.com/nomad/

Did people be fooled to build cities to cage themselves? then the comfort sucks them in, and slowly they lose their survival skills and end up being told what to do and think that is normal? Cities are like farms, farming the young's time and energy.

Nothing beats learning about history than traveling, but then you need to know what you want to get out of it, otherwise it's just consuming. And it's way more fun if you can take all your experience into creation. ✨

went to a local festival, I really like seeing people wearing traditional clothes, but even in Turkey, you don't see it often now but only on some special occasions... And I really enjoy seeing the elders dancing and having fun! Sometimes I think the elders know how to have fun more, while the youngs only know how to take selfies and scroll on their phones, not to mention that the last generations have better real-life skills, e.g. the mums can pretty much cook anything you ask, then a full skillset of cleaning, knitting, making jams...taking care of the family, even the cats around.

The whole society keeps emphasizing how important it is to make money, buy big houses, gain social status, be pretty, dress well, use makeup, but deep down, all of these simply for one purpose: finding a good partner. Yet we are barely taught how to be self-aware, how to communicate better, how to form deep connections, and how to sustain long-term happiness.
