@Vitor Pamplona Amethyst is having trouble showing "hell threads" (the traditional ones, where people are marked in the body of the note, not only in events as @𝕾𝖊𝖗 𝕾𝖑𝖊𝖊𝖕𝖞 implemented). The interface hangs for long times (sometimes the OS even asks if i want to kill amethyst because it is unresponsive), and it is practically impossible to scroll down to the end of the message and see other notifications previous to it. see attached video. It seems to me that resolving all the npubs is taking it's toll on processor. My suggestions: 1- limit the amount of npub resolved per note. 2- limit the size of the note unless the user presses some "show more" button. 3- implement some kind of "too many tags" filter, so the user can simply block those threads. 3.1- implement blocking of threads by id (as per nip51).

“What was peculiar about the West was not that it participated in the worldwide evil of slavery, but that it later abolished that evil, not only in Western societies but also in other societies subject to Western control or influence. This was possible only because the anti-slavery movement coincided with an era in which Western power and hegemony were at their zenith, so that it was essentially European imperialism which ended slavery. This idea might seem shocking, not because it does not fit the facts, but because it does not fit the prevailing vision of our time.” ~ Thomas Sowell, Black Rednecks and White Liberals (2005)
