My wife and I bought our first home today. Not as a financial investment, but as an investment in our family and our happiness.
It's not lost on us that this dream is increasingly out of reach for a lot of people our age. I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled into /r/bitcoin all those years ago... One of those moments that splitners your timeline and changes everything. I'm a different person because of it, doing things I would otherwise likely struggle to do. Not just financially, but personally also.

Taken roughly a month off from social media, including nostr. It was great, and I recommend trying it. But it's great to load up my feed here and see things just as lively as when I left.
Any big developments over the last month? Anything new in the freedom tech space?
I seriously don't care if my local coffee shop wants to stack sats or not. I like their coffee.

What they do with their hard earned capital is their problem.
There are private conversations happening as we speak between core developers discussing how to diffuse the situation to quiet the dissent. Not an acknowledgement that they did anything wrong, but a discussion about quieting the plebs.
