It’s very disheartening when you present a problem to someone (like this week’s most egregious overstep of the surveillance state, or the brokenness of the monetary system) and they just look at you. They did not know this info before you told them, but somehow there is still no reaction. They just simply don’t care. There is no spark, no fight. The system did its job on them perfectly. This is how we lose.

What happens to a society when the technocrats and politicians own the data that allows them to understand you better than you understand you? Do you think they will use it to improve and enrich YOUR life?

I used to be a bit of a doomer. Not total doomerism, but I definitely fit in with the prepper/gold bug crowd. Still do, but I see the world through a different, more positive lens now. It’s tough for us (the Bitcoiners/nostriches/freedom and truth seekers) to have regular conversation with those outside of our little community. All my friends and some family still see me as a doomer. This is because they don’t like to think about how everything is fake; the food, the money, the education, the “freedom”. They just feel utterly powerless when confronted with the reality of the world, so most would rather just not think about it at all. The biggest change in my thinking has been the exciting prospect of taking it all back and BELIEVING I can.
Radical Responsibility= freedom in the Information Age.
Grow/source your own food. Save hard money. Use freedom tech to claw back your privacy and digital freedom. Learn.
I’m so grateful for every ounce of freedom I take back from the system that’s been leeching it away all these years. The fight gives me purpose. Action staves off fear and despair.
Keep building, freedom fighters.
