Woah… wait, can an npub have the same functionality as a token would for voting on decentralized networks? Ie, instead of proof of stake or vote per token in your wallet, your npub just counts as 1 valid vote per voting epoch?

Again, I have no f idea what is going but my question is this… WoT is a client level bandaid for a larger spam problem…at the network level, I’m assuming this is correct? If so, then the problem is larger than just reply guy, also an assumption?because there are a 100m bots or more for every one of us If so, PoW would (reasonably) answer this question at the network level but would require hardware? Correct? Or at least… a built out node on a personal server? Or no? I hate to say this but a ledger that I used to adore had this issue with bots and there was a part of the code I think time leap… anyway, the network was fixed by making each “note” a tiny fractional cost… can this happen here? Say a sat a post/reply or something a little bigger than what bots would pay? Hardware can be expensive, a server alone was once a big deal for me but a fraction of a penny on a free wallet? Worth it. This could just be a ramble that makes no sense, I don’t totally understand this network or the relays yet. Thank you for coming to my confused TedxTalk. 🙏🏼

Encrypted communication is such an important part of the good fight… But, I think that maybe the problem is that almost every end user is compromised…. You can secure a tunnel all day long, but if there’s a swat team (hiding and waiting) on either end, you’re just trapped in a tunnel

Made a wise business decision today, cancelled all travel for the rest of the year ✈️ Gonna stay in Chicago, gonna do some yoga on the beach, and going to build out my end of nostr… taking some R&R, grateful to be in a position to do things like this We can expect me to typically post everyday from here on out 😂🫶🏼 since this is now my only account being used. Anything without my npub… would not be me. I like that.
