Good morning From Bitcoin Chama? We had a tourist from the UK visit our community. He is not a bitcoiner. He was really surprised when he found people in rural Kisii Kenya know about bitcoin and are transacting daily with it. He couldn't even believe bitcoin could be used to make small transactions, so we showed him by buying him a soda and paying with bitcoin at a local shop. We are still early. Bitcoin is money. Update: Guess who the new goat farmers in town? We have had a few adventurous weeks, visited some new places, met some amazing people and amazing culture too! We have been goat hunting in our local communities. I've never known goats are this hard to find. After several attempts on homesteads and local goat markets but all in vain, we decided to go to The Maasai Lands for goats. Maasai land is not very far from our community. (about 1.5hour drive from my community) We bought 5 goats which we all paid for through Bitcoin via Tando. Most of the people we interacted with became very curious about Bitcoin, others insecure about the money we sent and Zero onborders. The youth who will be taking care of the goats will be earning his salary in Bitcoin. Future returns from the goats will also be saved in Bitcoin on Machankura clans. To also increase Maranga's earnings, the wastes collected from the goats will be sold to The women Chama farm for sats! We are building a self reliant Bitcoin community on Bitcoin!

More people are using Bitcoin more on a daily basis in our community, especially women. That's because, most of them are earning in sats. Good evening from Bitcoin Chama? The best thing about our community is, we don't have a lot of shops in our community and Most people buy their products from one shop in our local community. This makes it easier to onboard more people and it is easier for people normalize using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange. Mercy is almost living on a Bitcoin standard in Rural Kenya on a feature phone. Today, she bought 2 tins of maize for milling and paid with Bitcoin using Machankura wallet! #Bitcoinkwawote #SPEDN

Good morning From Bitcoin Chama? Over the past few days, we have been very busy between bee harvesting, goat hunting and the farms that I didn't find time to update you guys . It took us 4 days to finish harvesting honey from the hives. What made us take this long was because of the distance between the hives locations. In one of the locations, someone went and stole our honey and Harvested 6 of our hives. They actually used the traditional method of burning the Bees before extracting the honey which is pretty bad for both us and the bees. Minus that, we had a very good harvest. We didn't get out unscathed, these are the African wild bees, very violent. I got out with 3 stings(not to worry, we believe bee stings are medicine😅) I took a 2-day break before I start preparing the honey. Purify it and pack it. We will later sell for sats. We are not there yet, we are still building. Check out our geyser page and support where you can : #Bitcoinkwawote #keepthesatsflowing #Hapanikazitu

Good evening from Kisii Kenya? The farm is doing really well. We have had quite a number of orders over the past week. We usually sell in fiat and then buy sats directly to the Machankura clan wallet directly through bitika.xyz We want to convert the people in our community especially the members totally onto the Bitcoin standard way of life. We get to use the best money ever created in our community for daily transactions. What a time to be alive! Earn, save, spend & Repeat! #stacksats #Bitcoinkwawote image

Good evening from Bitcoin Chama? Building on Bitcoin? Keeping the sats flowing?. Earn in sats, price in sats and store in sats as a community? Yeah, we do that! A self-reliant Bitcoin community on the way! The women's Chama obtained excess splits from their farm. We sold the splits and one member decided to pay with Bitcoin using Machankura
