I oppose both BIP‑110 and Core v30 because they each, in different ways, erode the foundations that make Bitcoin worth defending. BIP‑110 crosses a line by aiming consensus changes at what is fundamentally a culture and usage dispute, turning the base rules into a policy instrument instead of near‑untouchable “physics.” Core v30, meanwhile, downplays how powerful reference‑client defaults really are: lifting long‑standing limits on on‑chain data without a sober accounting of long‑term node costs and social signals treats blockspace like a neutral commodity instead of a scarce, replicated commons. Let us not forget that the purpose of bitcoin is to do good. To use it to build a more just and righteous society. There are so many community projects, bitcoin circular economies and individual people who are in desperate need of resources. Let us identify them and support them. When we only focus on ourselves and what we need or have we become scarcity minded, then we deserve to lose our wealth. To give, freely in love and wisdom is to reclaim the Divine image of humanity and bring heaven to earth. The paradox of being is that we must give to receive. Give up to gain. The fiat system says: “get as much as you can before it’s gone” honest money systems say: “Wisely allocate resources and all will have abundance”. The Fiat price of bitcoin is meaningless to everyone except greedy imposters. Bitcoin frees me to support causes I care about anywhere in the world instantly without barriers. It gives me the means to make an impact in the world without permission, it lets me support friends and neighbors across the globe as they teach and support their communities and build just and free communities.
