Oh the irony

After installing #GrapheneOS I am again astonished how... ugly... everything looks on Android! Still, in 2024! Couldn't find a single calendar app that is practical and nice to look at. Also, I think I am not fully ready to give up Apple Pay again. It's a shame Google Pay doesn't work on GrapheneOS. Using credit cards are less secure and while I do think cash is important, I simply do not want to fully rely on it. This is actually my second rodeo with GrapheneOS. I Installed it back when the Pixel 6 Pro came out and used that for a year. Switched back to an iPhone in 2022. Damn.

After ~8 months since starting my Golf journey, I am only happy for ~30-40% of my swings. How long until it’s more like 80%? #golfstr I already hired a personal trainer and have improved a lot since the beginning, but he says I just have to keep practicing…

Just ordered a Pixel 8a #GrapheneOS

I mean... just look at their website! It has hotkeys for actions! It's so geeky, I love it.

I am a very avid #NeoVim user but recently tried out https://zed.dev and... it's actually amazing? It works great out of the box, is super fast and supports remote sessions pretty well. The collaborative features look flashy at first but after using them today with two colleagues, I think I'm sold. We had a blast coding together.

Hot take: #Monero is doing very badly as an investment and is a mediocre form of payment - if you even find any serious business that accepts it. Privacy characteristics are amazing tho.

I have to say I *REALLY* enjoy this setup: MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon for portability, long battery life, good screen and physical security Remote Ubuntu + Nix for all development work. ssh from the MacBook, every project inside of a different tmux session. Currently on a Ryzen 9 7950x with 128GB RAM
