My plan for orange pilling this holiday season is to get my family to use Taskify for their wish lists. We just dropped compound boards, where you can add multiple shared boards together for one seamless view. There’s also a setting to enable an index for faster navigation, just press the list name you want and quickly scroll directly to it. Taskify uses nostr for shared boards, AES and SHA-256 encryption for private sharing and backups, and has a built in lightning and ecash wallet. They come for the wishlist and stay for the convenience and privacy.

Taskify shared boards use sha-256 encryption for both the contents and the board ID. This makes the shared board viewable only to those with the unencrypted board ID. The client uses the unencrypted board ID to identify events related to that board (by searching for the hash of the ID) and then uses the same ID to decrypt its contents. Try it out!

I vibe coded a new tasks app that allows sharing boards via nostr relays, and ecash bounties on tasks. If anyone wants to test it out and provide feedback I’m looking for improvements. Use the ecash bounties feature at your own risk, remember that this is a vibe coded app and hasn’t undergone strict testing. That said, I think it’s a fun idea to ad incentives to tasks. Only the one funding the task can unlock the ecash (it’s locked to the users nsec).
