So I just got DEBANKED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE 🥲 They asked me to re-KYC my account, after using it for 3yrs. Then 2hrs later, they send me THIS email. "Sorry we can't give you banking services, and we can't tell you why." Husband sent money there to pay our rent, and now they're telling me they can't send the money to my Brazilian account (even though I've been doing that for months). So no account AND they're holding the money hostage 🤡 Thank GOD my savings are in Bitcoin. It's times like this you realise how crazy this world is. image

Nostriga looked amazing from afar. Despite attending around 50 Bitcoin conferences over the past three years, I haven’t had the chance to go to any Nostr Unconferences. I’m not sure if the NostrElite will welcome The Svetski family 😜😅, but I hear there’s a chance the next one could happen in South America! I’ve been living in Brazil for two years and couldn’t recommend it more—maybe I can attend! South America is an amazing region and I think it would be an excellent location for the next Nostr conference. The mix of culture, innovation, and enthusiasm here is unmatched, and it would be great to see the Nostr community come together in such an inspiring environment. I’m really hoping the rumors are true, and if the conference does come to South America, I’ll definitely make it a priority to attend. It would be a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and share ideas in person.
