Things I’m thinking about including in my nostr intro talk to undergrads on Friday - help me not to miss anything important 🙏 - nostr protocol - what makes it different from twitter and mastodon - nips - lightning invoices - github scene Plus a list of simple project ideas for folks to hack on (some folks may be somewhat newer developers) - a barebones client for sending and receiving messages - a barebones relay - an app that analyzes Nostr traffic and provides stats - a nostr bot that provides some service automatically or when requested Things move fast here and I still don’t feel caught up on everything Nostr myself so this is also a learning experience for me. Any of all use github copilot? I’m loving it so far - it makes coding feel more “flowy” because I don’t have to leave the IDE as often. Also, pressing tab to get a line of code written when it’s exactly what I wanted anyway, feels like magic (granted - perfect suggestion doesn’t happen that often)
