IN NEED OF: The best and also up to date (or at least regularly updated) list of current and active #Nostr clients and what they are optimized for. I’m dropping a few clients that i used to use because they are either too similar to others that i like more, or just simply falling behind the times. It gets tricky because i’m a mostly mobile user, and an Apple user (save the judgement and superiority please, you don’t know my particular situation and circumstances). I also have an apple laptop that i would like to find some better clients for as well. I’m already on the Damus game and I love it a lot, just looking for a client with more features thats not named Primal ya know? I have a lot of issues with them. Pomp quoted Jacob Bronowski with this in a recent newsletter, and its perfect for what sounds like the current state of things. Some people say that ETH is fine with something thats “good enough” if it moves the community forward as a whole and looks like it works well enough, then just find something better or a better fit later. While BTC will refuse to move forward without having the “perfect fix” or a clear longterm solution. I feel like I can see that divide more and more the longer that i’m a part of the community. At the same time, i know thats only a broad overview of how things look. I see some of you devs and hobbyists making some crazy stuff and getting real creative with solutions and possible ideas. I can also see how the stakes are SO MUCH HIGHER for Bitcoin. I’m really interested in how this community decides to move forward through this next cycle. It could put us in such a different place than we are right now! I keep hearing all these different divides. Whether it be maxi, moderate, new big blockers vs new small blockers, “bitcoin chapter two” proponents, payments vs expressive camps. Technology focus vs monetary focus. To me, it seems too intertwined and complex to fully hash out. I guess we will see where all our true allegiances lie once things are forced to flesh out… #defi #studybitcoin #bitcoin #crypto
