got some time to fix the private backup feature on Flycat. even if you don't have a umbrel device, you can still back up your own nostr data by running your own relay on your Macbook and adding ws://localhost:8080 to your relay on flycat website, It just works. 中午吃饭时又看了下昨晚玩的东西，昨天看到 umbrel 的备份方案我因为手头上没有适配的机器就想着在自己的macbook上跑一个relay，再配合飞猫的页面展示备份的数据，本地跑得挺顺利，但是一推到飞猫服务器上就遇到了localhost证书的问题，所以大家暂时还用不了。后面有时间再折腾吧。 不过倒是可以来这个页面看看远程的那些relay哪个存了你多少的数据 https://flycat-web.vercel.app/backup?relay=wss://relay.snort.social/ 点右边的relay url就能切换看 效果大概是这样

seems a lot of web clients are down and can't load any messages. I still think that managing all the websocket connections in a single shared worker is a better idea for frontend.

"Nostring" on hamstr and flycat are so different. And that's probably a good thing.

every nostr client got their own view of the world. My view for flycat is that word matters. I like the feeling of reading words in plain simple retro style web, reminds me of the good old days of the internet. so in flycat, pics in notes only got a small thumbnail size, making it less distracting for users to read words.
